THERE WILL BE MUSIC
With people coming from hundreds of miles away every event I feel there can never be an excuse for not having music. You may ask how that could possibly happen, but most events like ours rely on outside contracted services to provide a DJ and sound system. There is always a chance of a last minute cancellation, and on a Saturday night there would be no time to find an available DJ.
I also believe that you as my customers deserve the absolute best night club I can possibly create.
Club Ample has set the standard for what should be expected from a BBW event. Class, Quality, and Reliability
We have invested in the future of Club Ample and purchased our own sound and light system. :) Everything you see below is used in the production of the events in some way. Most of it has been purchased in the last 12 months and is state of the art sound and club lighting technology, some items found in major clubs and recording studios around the world. I have spared nary an expense in putting together this system right down to the gold plated Mogami and Monster Studio Link cables that ensure the best connections possible. When you come to a Club Ample event you will truly be impressed with the atmosphere that is created by our equipment. You will hear music as it was meant to be heard and notice details in the music that you never noticed before.
Our system is loud but not too loud and is tailored to each venue so it's not fatiguing to the ears, very important with a 5-6 hour event.
Our lights will set the mood and dazzle when the time is right.
The DJ's I hire merely plug into my sound system and if for some reason they cant make it, I will "DJ" for that evening, or until a backup DJ could get there.
I'll probably be off beat, have no flow and bad mixes half the night but there will at least be some good music coming out of some kind of speakers.
The phrase "the show must go on" really does apply here.
It probably goes unnoticed...like a good umpire..but since I have started doing the sound at these events almost 2 years ago... we have not had one stoppage of music due to mechanical failure
or any other reason besides maybe the DJ didn't cue a song up in time. and you may or may not know that's unrelated to the system.
My entire system is built around the principle of backup. If anything should ever fail during a show... there is a backup measure in place to fix it. Backup amp, speaker, computer, EQ , cables, and mixer.
I have 15+ light fixtures and it is unlikely more than one would fail at any dance.
What about if the power goes out? The 22ft van I use to transport all this stuff is equipped with a 110v converter capable of powering my main speakers, CD players and at least one light as well. If for some reason all that stuff blows at once lol... I can crank the 1700watt stereo in the van. 2 Amps 10 Speakers and a Sub woofer. :) Let's hope we never have to use it. ~~~~ Bill Albrecht |
